Music and Solidarity Unite in Support of Venezuela’s Earthquake Victims

On 11 July 2026 at 7:30 p.m., more than 200 guests gathered at Musikum Salzburg for a benefit concert in support of those directly affected by the earthquake in Venezuela.

The evening brought together an exceptional group of artists: Markus Urbas (piano), Moritz Schily (piano and cuatro), Pol Corti Martínez (piano), Morgane Heyse (soprano), Génesis López Da Silva (mezzo-soprano), Vladimir Šlepec (tenor), Tomás Restrepo Cardona (violin), Juan Riquelme (guitar), and Lilian Urbas (acrobatics).

Through music, performance, and solidarity, the concert raised approximately €5,000. The proceeds were donated to Caritas, Fundaprocura, and a GoFundMe campaign organised by Peter and Norkys Esterer, owners of Stadtalm and Alter Fuchs, to provide direct assistance to the victims of the earthquake in Venezuela.

Special thanks also go to Coca-Cola, Morandell, and Restaurant Santas Salsas for generously donating products, catering services, and their time to support the event.

Following the concert’s resounding success, we hope to bring this initiative back in the future and continue supporting those who need it most in Venezuela. Further details will be announced in due course.

You, too, can be part of this wave of solidarity. Every donation, no matter the amount, can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected. Support this important cause through one of the following links:
